Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 16, 2026

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and other browser-side mechanisms that help a service remember information between requests or visits.

Parli uses these technologies to make the service function, maintain account continuity, remember preferences, and keep the product secure.

2. Categories of Technologies We Use

Based on the current implementation of this repository, Parli primarily relies on essential and preference technologies.

  • Essential technologies that are necessary for authentication, account sessions, security, account management, and core app behavior.
  • Preference technologies that remember interface choices such as navigation state.
  • Parli does not currently rely on advertising or targeting cookies in the product experience described by this repository.
  • We have not identified product analytics cookies in the current app implementation. If that changes, we will update this policy.

3. Technologies Currently Used in the Product

The current product implementation uses or may use the following browser-side storage technologies.

  • Authentication and session cookies used by our auth stack and infrastructure to sign users in, maintain sessions, and protect account flows.
  • A preference cookie named sidebar_state that remembers whether the in-app sidebar is expanded or collapsed.
  • A local storage entry named parli_current_page that restores the last-viewed app page in the authenticated experience.
  • A session storage entry named parli_delete_token that preserves account-deletion confirmation state across redirects.
  • A session storage entry named parli_auth when preview password protection is enabled, so the preview gate does not need to be re-entered on every navigation.

4. Managing Your Choices

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through browser settings. You can also clear local storage and session storage through browser controls. Blocking certain essential technologies may cause parts of Parli to stop working properly.

If you want to stop a connected session from continuing on a shared device, you should sign out and clear your browser data for the site.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services or the technologies we use. When we do, we will update the last updated date above.
